The US Air Force X-37B Spaceplane landed in Florida on Monday, Thailand time. The Air Force tweeted Monday that the reusable X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle had landed safely, completing its fourth classified mission. — U.S. Air Force (@usairforce) May 7, 2017Air Force officials have called the X-37B program, which is managed by the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office, "the newest and most advanced re-entry spacecraft." The orbiters "perform risk reduction, experimentation and concept-of-operations development for reusable space vehicle technologies," the Air Force has said without providing details. The Air Force intends to launch the fifth X-37B mission from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, located just south of the Kennedy Space Center, later this year.
